The Macau Peninsula - also known as the Mainland Macau - is connect to its islands by three bridges:
- Sai Van Bridge / Ponte de Sai Van
- Governador Nobre de Carvalho Bridge
- Friendship Bridge / Ponte de Amizade

Islands of Macau

At one time, Taipa and Cologne really were two separate islands but they have been joined into one island by a land reclamation project that created an area known as the Cotai Strip.
